On behalf of Sierra Club Prairie, we would like to extend you an invitation to support our newly launched multi-year campaign, RePower Alberta: Building the Green Energy Economy.
RePower Alberta is a growing network of concerned individuals and groups, working in coalition to undertake public education initiatives which seeks to:
1. See the Province of Alberta pass a Green Energy Strategy;
2. Ensure the Green Energy Strategy is achieved using truly green energy, through investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy;
3. Work with communities throughout the province to implement green energy solutions and green jobs.
The campaign itself presents unique outreach opportunities to promote local progressive businesses and organizations in bringing about a clean, green and just energy economy in Alberta.
Upon your donation you will be recognized on our website visited by a growing number of people seeking alternative and green solutions to climate change, energy efficiency and moving away from fossil fuel dependence. Your support will also be recognized in presentations and information materials where appropriate, as well as in our e-communications to Sierra Club Prairie members and contacts.
Alberta is the only province in Canada without a Green Energy Strategy. Help us change that and build a Green Energy Economy for our province and support this progressive initiative for a green, clean and just energy future.
